Honoring Those Who Loved and Helped Us

Bagpipes playing Amazing Grace and/or Flowers of the Forest at the memorial service provides a tribute no finer. A piper, off in the distance, playing leaves an everlasting impression.

Listed below are only suggestions or guidelines to help you decide your needs. We have been doing memorial services for over 45 years. With that many years of experience, we can provide insight in making your funeral service memorable. Even if you do not hire us, we would be happy to consult with you on any part of your memorial service plans.

Funerals are often very short notice, however, we will get back to you within 4-8 hours after your initial call.

We always have two sets of Bagpipes. The Great Highland Bagpipes (GHP) and Fireside Bagpipes. The GHP are the Bagpipes most people are familiar with. These are great for "open space" areas, whereas the Fireside Bagpipers were developed specifically for "close space" areas.

Funeral Home Service - Piping:

Before the Service

Outside as guests arrive
In the lobby using Fireside Bagpipes.
Next to the casket as the service is being prepared and guests are being seated, using Fireside Bagpipes

During the Service

Next to casket using Fireside Bagpipes
Full Bagpipes, in a different location so as not to be loud for the guests
Recessional
Next to casket, as guests pay their last respects. Fireside Bagpipes
Full Bagpipes as casket is carried from funeral home to the funeral hearse

Church Service - Piping:

Before the Service

Outside as guests arrive
In the lobby using Fireside Bagpipes.
Processional
Leading casket or cremains into the church

During the Service

Next to casket
Recessional
Next to casket, as guests pay their last respects. Fireside Bagpipes
Full Bagpipes as casket is carried from funeral home to the funeral hearse

Graveside Services - Piping:

Before funeral hearse arrives
Outside as hearse and guests arrive.
In the lobby using Fireside Bagpipes. (These Bagpipes are made for indoor playing)
Recessional
Off in the distance as guests depart
